Ooty also known as Udhagmandalam , it is hill station in the state of TamilNadu. Nice beautiful and romantic destination for the trip. Mainly famous for the green nature, tea park, botanical garden, rose garden, shooting locations etc

How to reach: Near about 370 km from Bangalore and 85 km from the Coimbatore. First reach to Bangalore or Coimbatore by flight, bus, railway and own transport . From Bangalore direct buses are available or first travel it to Mysuru and take bus from Mysuru. After 6pm very less buses are available. 2nd option is from the Coimbatore by bus. While travelling from Mysuru  en route you can see Bandipura Tiger reserve and National Park.

Must enjoy the toy train from Ooty to Coonoor , do advance booking and reserve your seat. To and fro train available for the Coonor and do Coonoor sight seeing in meantime .
Need to purchase the separate entry pass in all locations, take the help from the local guide and driver for sight seeing.
Enjoy the tea in the tea factory , factory located in Ooty and Coonoor.

Take a horse ride near to Ooty lake ,enjoy toy train and boating also available in the Ooty lake and Sims Park. Lot of Hindi, Tamil and Telgu films are filmed in the Ooty locations.

Tea farms are best spot for the photo shoot, as well as the Lake side, train side and Garden areas are attractions for the visitors.

Where to stay: In Ooty lot of best places available which suits anyone budget, do the early booking and reserve the seats . Most of the stay options are cottages . Enjoy the lovely places near to the lake and garden . Coonoor is less crowded than the Ooty , choose any one of the place. Ooty is the busy and major attraction for tourist so most of the times all hotels and resorts reserved.

What to wear : In Ooty most of the time the temperature is very low, keep warm cloths all the time. Carry woolen socks and hand gloves if you are travelling in the winter season. Winter cloths are very cheap in Ooty if you have time than do shopping in the market area.

Climate: In summer may season the higest temperature is 25 to 30 degrees otherwise most of the time lowest temperature is about average 8 degrees

All the places in the Ooty and Coonoor maintained so keep area clean and do not litter anywhere .
